DJ Si’Noir

“Si’Noir recently dubbed the “Dancing DJ” is a South African Femme artist born and raised in the vibrant hub of the city of gold – Johannesburg. She is a creative who’s emersed herself in a variety of musical realms – a Professional Dancer, Choreographer, DJ, Presenter and MC #HostWithTheMost and aspiring producer.

Her DJ style is a fusion of her elegant flair, appreciation of new and old school House, Deep House, Tropical house, disco funk and Electro, this colourful combination of sounds takes you on a magical journey and literally makes any dancefloor shake.

Her involvement within the Music industry has her working alongside interesting alternative South African artists such as Darkie Fiction and the Pussy Party collective.

Playing at inner-city events, rooftops, clubs, varsity freshers and corporate gatherings has catapulted Si’Noirs career towards her ultimate bucket list goals – she dominated the RedBull stage at the 2018 Oppikoppi Festival, dominated the Red Bull stage at the Cape Town Electronic Music Festival (CTEMF) and has toured around Australia performing at various festivals such as Heaps Gay Trash Tour, Brisbane Arts Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival, Big Sound and many more.
Si’Noir also holds her residential space at Kitcheners (Braamfontein), The Living Room (Maboneng), Bar Bar Blacksheep(Rosebank).

Let’s not forget one of her most valuable and important talents, Dance. Sisi has been a dancer all her life, majoring in classical ballet and contemporary at UCT and then branching off to be a freelancing artist performing for Sampa The Great, Jojo Abot (Afro Punk), Hell Cats Band, Jussie Smollet and many more.

As a Presenter/MC, she currently hosts the Mix Mag #TheLab BudX shows in Johannesburg showcasing local and international musical talent, hoping to one day have her own Radio Slot.
